Global hotel developer citizenM adopts Apaleo to accelerate innovation

MUNICH, June 26 2023 - Apaleo, the open property management platform for hospitality, has been selected by global developer, investor and hotel brand citizenM to accelerate its innovation, efficiency and drive its ambitious plans for growth. 

citizenM started in 2008 with an idea to disrupt the traditional hotel industry by creating a luxury hybrid hotel for today’s modern travelers – eliminating common frustrations these frequent travelers shared. It now has nearly 7,000 rooms across 31 properties in the US,Europe, and Asia.

To help achieve its mission, citizenM needed a next-generation platform to replace its legacy property management software (PMS), speed up innovation and help it deliver a seamless and more personalised guest journey.

Built on a MACH architecture, Apaleo’s API-first architecture enables unprecedented speed, reliability and flexibility for hospitality businesses to roll-out new technology and data tools without delay.

The platform’s ability to offer a modern guest experience through high-speed migration and roll-out as well as its capacity for limitless innovation and customization through the Apaleo Store were key to citizenM’s decision.
