STAYERY Launches Contactless Services in New App

++ New STAYERY App Enables Contactless Check-In and Digital Keys ++ STAYERY Has Successfully Released New In-app Functions ++ This Update Adds to Existing Array of Digital Services

STAYERY continues to focus on the digital guest experience by releasing additional contactless services within the new app. The entire processes from booking to entering the room can now take place digitally with STAYERY, while the STAYERY app acts as a mobile room key throughout the stay. The technical core behind the app was developed especially for STAYERY together with the Bremen IT agency detco. Thanks to the infrastructure of the open software platform, apaleo, which is powering STAYERY, the app software could be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure without any problems.

“Since launch, the app is proving to be highly popular among our STAYERY residents. In addition to the convenience of early check-in, the app reduces touch points associated with traditional apartment keys, protecting the heath of staff and guests as hygiene concerns remain a high priority. In future versions of the app, we will expand the features to include further functions, such as guest profile creation and guest communication, in order to offer the best possible digital experience to our guests. The major advantage of the STAYERY app is that it is not built on a closed foundation, but instead on apaleo’s open technology. STAYERY is no stranger to offering digital solutions to the essential guest experience. The self-check-in kiosk automatically programs and delivers the apartment keycard, the WeWash app allows guests to control their laundry experience, and at the “STAYERY-Späti” (Corner Store) the goods are selected and paid for digitally on an iPad. In addition, only cashless payments are accepted in all STAYERY locations. The new app is the logical next step in the continuation of the digital services, and it is available free of charge in both the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.
